1. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.
2. The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and affection is that of the body. When one limb of it complains, the rest of the body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.
3. The relationship of the believer with another believer is like (the bricks of) a building, each strengthens the other.
4. Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, even if he is an unbeliever, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.
5. The merciful will be shown mercy by the most merciful.
6. Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished.
7. A kind word is a form of charity.
8. A Muslim who meets with others and shares their burdens is better than one who lives a life of seclusion and contemplation.

1. There are people who worship Allah to gain His Favors, this is the worship of traders; while there are some who worship Him to keep themselves free from His Wrath, this is the worship of slaves; a few who obey Him out’ of their sense of gratitude and obligations, this is the worship of free and noble men.
2. He who is greedy is disgraced; he who discloses his hardship will always be humiliated; he who has no control over his tongue will often have to face discomfort.
3. Avarice is disgrace; cowardice is a defect; poverty often disables an intelligent man from arguing his case; a poor man is a stranger in his own town; misfortune and helplessness are calamities; patience is a kind of bravery; to sever attachments with the wicked world is the greatest wealth; piety is the best weapon of defence.
4. Submission to Allah’s Will is the best companion; wisdom is the noblest heritage; theoretical and practical knowledge are the best signs of distinction; deep thinking will present the clearest picture of every problem.
5. The mind of a wise man is the safest custody of secrets; cheerfulness is the key to friendship; patience and forbearance will conceal many defects.
6. A conceited and self-admiring person is disliked by others; charity and alms are the best remedy for ailments and calamities; one has to account in the next world for the deeds that he has done in this world.
7. Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).
8. When this world favors somebody, it lends him the attributes, and surpassing merits of others and when it turns its face away from him it snatches away even his own excellences and fame.
9. Live amongst people in such a manner that if you die they weep over you and if you are alive they crave for your company.
10. If you overpower your enemy, then pardon him by way of thankfulness to Allah, for being able to subdue him.
1- I do not know anyone who is not foolish in his relation to His Lord.
2-As someone accused him of enjoying haughtiness, Imam Hasan(AS) said: No, I enjoy honor. Allah says: Honor belongs to Allah, His Messenger and the believers. (Holy Qur’an 63:8).
3- As he was asked about chivalry, Imam Hasan(AS) answered: Chivalry is to cling to the religion, recondition the wealth, and fulfill the duties completely.
4- He who frequents to the mosque will gain one of eight things- a decisive (Quranic) Verse, a useful friend, an original information, an expected mercy, a word that guides to the right, a word that saves from perdition, or a desertion of sins whether shyly or fearfully.
5- The true close one is that whom is drawn near by cordiality despite the far kinship, and the true remote one is that whom is taken away by cordiality despite the near kinship. Nothing is closer to the body than the hand. Hands may be amputated and cut due to betrayal.
6- He who depends upon Allah’s good option for him will not wish to be in a situation other than that which Allah opts for him.
7- Dishonor is less bearable than the fire (of Hell).
8- The good that lacks evil is to thank the grace and to tolerate the misfortune.
9- Imam Hasan(AS) said to a man who had just been cured from a disease: Allah has mentioned you; therefore, you should mention Him, and has pardoned you; therefore, you should thank Him.
10-Imam Hasan(AS) said when he concluded the peace treaty with Muawiya: By Allah, it was not doubt or sorrow that made us stop confronting people of Syria. We could fight the Syrian people with safety and steadfastness. Today, enmity, unfortunately, seized the safety and intolerance seized the steadfastness. When you fought in (the battle of) Siffin, your religion was preceded to your worldly life. Today, your worldly life is preceded to your religion.
1 – How can a thing the existence of which is dependent on you be taken as a proof for your existence? Is there anything more evident than your “self” disclose you? Are you hidden to need a guide to find you?
Surely you are not. Are you far-away to need your footprints to find you? Surely you are not! Blind may the eyes be which do not see you watching and guarding your “self” (Arafa prayer; Biharol Anwar, Vol. 98, P. 226)
2 – He who has you, has everything , and he who has deprived himself of you is the poorest in the world. Loser is the one who chooses and be content with anyone or anything other than you. (Biharol Anwar, Vol. 98, P. 228)
3 – Never will be salvaged the people who win the consent of the creature at the cost of the dissatisfaction of the creator. (Maqtal Khawarazmi , Vol. 1 , P. 239)
4 – No one will feel secured on the Resurrection Day except those who feared God in this world. (Biharol Anwar, Vol. 44, P. 192)
5 – The Almighty God said: “The believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other, enjoin good and forbid evil… “God attaches primary importance to enjoining good and forbidding evil” as a duty for men and women. For he knows that if it were fulfilled all the other duties, easy or hard, will be accomplished. That is because “enjoining good and forbidding evil” is a call for Islam, it regains the rights of the oppressed and opposes tyrants. (Tohaf-al- Uqoul , P. 237)
6 – O’ people , the Messenger of God said: Whoever sees an aggressive tyrant legalizes the forbidden of God , breeches divine laws, opposes the tradition of the Prophet , oppresses the worshippers of God , but does not concede his opposition to God in word or in deed , surely Allah will place that tyrant ( in the Hell ) where he deserves. 7 – People are slaves to the world, and as long as they live favorable and comfortable lives, they are loyal to religious principles. However, at hard times, the times of trials, true religious people are scarce. (Biharol Anwar, Vol. 78, P. 117)
8 – One who pursues a goal through sinful ways, will ironically distance himself from that goal, and will approach what he was afraid of. (Biharol Anwar, Vol. 78, P. 120)
9 -Don’t you see that the right is not conveyed and the wrong is not prohibited. Let believers wish to die and righteously meet their God. (Biharol Anwar, Vol. 78 , P. 117)
10 – To me , death is nothing but happiness, and living under tyrants nothing but living in a hell. (Tohaf-al- Uqoul , P. 245)
